Halloween Pinwheel Cookies – Hypnotizing Cookies to Go Down The Memory Lane

These Halloween Pinwheel Cookies would be mesmerizing because of the vibrant colors that are wound around each other.

As a kid, I have always loved lollipop candies since they would be attractive and colorful. My favorite colors are pink, red, lavender, yellow and blue. When I was a kid I used to cry for lollipops especially the pinwheel ones….

My mom used to deny my request saying that they were not healthy since they contained lots of sugar. I was my dad’s favorite and so I would always persuade him to buy me lollipops without my mom’s knowledge. We were partners in crime!!!!

It was all in my childhood days… I just went down the memory lane for a bit… Let me come to the present time… We were preparing the Halloween dishes and that is when I wanted to make Halloween Pinwheel Cookies.

Halloween Pinwheel Cookies were my favorite from childhood because of the same reason as lollipops… I prepared the cookies last Halloween and this time too I wanted to do the same because they had become my family’s favorite.

In a bowl I added the baking flour, eggs, vanilla, softened butter sugar etc. and make a dough. Divide the dough in half and I added the lavender food color and blended the color evenly with the dough. Then I added the green food color with the other part of the dough and kneaded it in the same way.

Now that the two, colored doughs are ready, let us make the Halloween Pinwheel Cookies. Refrigerate both the doughs. After refrigeration, separately add some flour with the doughs and use the rolling pin to roll them. Use a spatula to place the green dough over the lavender one.

Now that the combined dough is ready, they should be placed in the preheated oven and the extra dough particles can be removed for perfection. And our Halloween Pinwheel Cookies are now ready!!! Have a happy Halloween tea time…. 😊 😊 😊
