Halloween Edible blood – Spill Blood All Over Your dish – Be a Vampire!!!!

The edible blood gives you a dreadful blood feeling and you can scare the hell out of people with it. Do you really need a recipe for Edible Fake Blood? Unless you want to drizzle ketchup on your cupcakes, then yes!

When I was pregnant, I was advised by the doctor to take blood fry and liver for iron content. I was so hesitant to eat blood fry. I am indeed not into eating blood but I had to as a part of ‘healthy menu’. This Halloween, we had made varieties of dishes like Halloween Spaghetti, Blood eggs etc. So, for every main course, dessert or snack that we made, we were in need of ‘Blood’ since all the dishes were Halloween themed.

We had bought many red food color tubes but by the time we were done with preparing desserts, we ran short of ‘Blood’. We had very little red food color so we sought for an idea to prepare Edible Blood with whatever food colors and ingredients we had.

My aunt came up with the idea that mixing corn syrup and some red food coloring would look and feel like Blood. So, I did the same. I mixed the red food color with some corn syrup and it gave a good red color. But something was missing!!! It was not exactly blood red!!! It was a little lighter than blood.

So, I took some blue food color and mixed with it. The blue made the syrup darker and now we could see that the liquid looked exactly like Blood!!! The edible blood was now ready and we mixed it will whatever dish we want. Hurrayyyy!!!! Our blood was identical to the food color that we formally used. I really loved the day coz all is well that ends well!!! 😊 😊 😊

We had a nice Halloween night and we had delicious new edible blood. Hereafter there will be no shortage of Blood in our home!!!! 😊
