Bloody Witch Fingers will look nasty but will be tasty. You can avoid food coloring and use jam instead!!! The perfect Halloween dessert!
I was on the way to my friend’s birthday party and I stopped at the nearby bakery to buy some cookies and pastries for her. Whenever we gather around for any reason, Clara would surely gift everyone with a whole package of different cookies and snack varieties.
Now it is high time that I return the favor to her!!! She loves crunchy snacks so I bought her some Almond filled Choco cookies and some wheat breadsticks that can be eaten by dipping it in jam.
I bought her some pineapple flavored pastries and reached home on time. We had a nice lovely party with food and booze!!! The party went till midnight but we never knew how time flew… After all, it’s a party for friends and time flies away just like that.
Once the party was over many people went home and a few of us stayed with her to enjoy the night!!! Clara opened the snacks that I had bought her and she instantly fell in love with the breadsticks dipped in jam.
So, this Halloween I had a bright idea of making the bread into Bloody Witch Fingers and the jam can be a replacement for red food color. After beating the butter and sugar, the almond extract, vanilla extract, and eggs were added and beaten well. I refrigerated this mixture for 40 mins.
I then shaped the refrigerated dough into fingers marking knuckles and grooves to make it look realistic. I pressed the almond at the tip of the fingers to make the nails. The fingers looked exactly like the Witch’s fingers. I added the jam around and, on the fingers, to make it bloody!!! The Bloody Witch Fingers were ready and I baked it in the preheated oven.
The Bloody Witch Fingers are tasty and healthy since they are made of wheat!! Have a witchy Halloween!!!
