Now, it is a good time for making tasty, healthy, easy and fast breakfast recipe, the Burritos. Let us put a glance at the recipe and discover how much time and what ingredients are required to plate up the breakfast recipe.
The first lesson that I learned was that freezer-friendly breakfast burritos must be individually wrapped to keep them from sticking together. Plus reheating them can be a bit of a touch-and-go situation. I’ve found it best to use a loosened paper towel to wrap them up in for a quick reheat in the microwave.
These burritos are really simple to make and can last you all week long if you prepare them ahead of time, giving you a great grab-and-go breakfast option. It’s so much easier to eat better when you’ve already got the food cooked and prepared. No excuses then!
How to Make?
To make the burritos, first warm up the tortillas in a large skillet (a 12-inch skillet will fit a burrito-size tortilla perfectly). Then place your fillings in the center of the tortilla. Fold the bottom up, then fold the sides in. Finally, fold the top down, and flip it over so the ends are underneath the burrito.
Wrap each burrito in a paper towel (I like to use 1 section of a select-a-size paper towel), then fill a gallon-size Ziploc freezer bag with your burritos. Label and date the bag, and pop them in the freezer!
In the morning, take out as many as you need, microwave them, and hit the road! Store in the freezer for up to 6 months.
