Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops – An Easy Dessert For a Scary Halloween!!

These old Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops are cute lollipops that make an easy Halloween dessert that is the perfect Halloween party food.

Last Halloween I had invited my parents and we had lots of fun. My children loved their grandparents’ presence. We decorated our homes together with Scary Corpse decor, went shopping together and had a great time.

When we were having our Halloween family party at home, my mom taught me to do a special and easy dessert, Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops…

They were cute and delicious and I wanted to try it this time too. This Halloween has been a mess since my family had moved to an entirely different place and we had new neighbors and friends.

I was a little worried and reluctant to invite the new friends since I had made little preparations for this Halloween since we moved recently. But my husband wanted to invite the new neighbors and my children were excited to bring their new friends from school.

So, I wanted to prepare some Halloween recipes and got my husband’s help in preparing the main course. Now that the main dishes were all over, I wanted to make the recipe that my mom had made last Halloween…

Making of this dessert is absolutely easy and I didn’t require my husband’s help. I asked him to take a nap while I prepare the delicious snack. I had bought some Nutter Butter Cookies, dark chocolate, and white chocolate. In no time the cookies were ready and I used the molten dark chocolate to mark the eyes and mouth of the ghostly snack.

Our new neighbors enjoyed the Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops. “Well done!!” everyone congratulated me and I am pretty sure that I have made some strong ‘delicious’ connection with my neighbors… 😊 😊 Lets now make our easy Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops…. 😊 😊 😊

Instructions
  1. Place candy melts in the microwavable bowl or mug.
  2. Microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until it has melted smoothly.
  3. Place marshmallows on the straws and lay them on piece of wax or parchment paper, or a cooling rack over wax or parchment paper.
  4. One at a time dip the marshmallows into the green candy melts coating them completely. Tap the straw gently against the side of the cup to let the excess candy melts drip off.
  5. Add two candy eyes. Next dip the marshmallows in the cup of sprinkles to create hair.
  6. Set the marshmallows down on the cooling rack or parchment paper and let the candy coating harden.
  7. In a separate cup melt the chocolate chips and pour the melted chocolate in a sandwich bag. Snip off the tip of one corner.
  8. Pipe the chocolate on to the marshmallow creating a mouth and some stitches
  9. Pipe a drop of chocolate on each side and press a chocolate chip into the chocolate with the flat side facing out. These make Frankenstein's neck bolts.
  10. Let chocolate harden complete and then store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
  11. Let bark cool until set.
