Easy Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls Recipe -
For the rolls:
1PacketFrozen puff pastry thawed in the refrigerator
Gently sprinkle flour on your work area and spread out one sheet of puff pastry. See that the thickness of the sheet should be ¼ inch. While you are working on one sheet, keep the other sheet on the refrigerator.
Brush the melted butter on top of the puff pastry. When you coat the top of the puff pastry with butter, leave 1 inch gap from each of its edges.
Now add strawberry jam evenly on top of the melted butter.
Next, add a layer of thinly chopped strawberries upon the layer of strawberry jam. When all the layers are settled, lightly sprinkle ground cinnamon on top of the whole set up.
This is a bit difficult step. Actually it requires more of patience than your labor. Here you have to roll up the dough gently. Start off with the longer side. In order to seal the seam, apply a little bit of melted butter on the side of the open edges. This will fix the edge tightly and lock the dough.
Cut the dough into six equal pieces with the help of a sharp knife. Place each roll inside a parchment paper lined baking dish. Cut the paper from the sides. Allow the rolls to get frozen in a refrigerator for a while.
Bake the cinnamon rolls in the preheated for over 25 – 30 minutes. Keep a watch on them until they turn golden.
While the rolls are being baked, prepare the icing. Mix all the remaining ingredients in a bowl. If required, add a teaspoon of milk until its thick in consistency.
After taking out the cinnamon rolls from the oven sprinkle the icing on top of it evenly. Happy eating!
